Terms & Conditions

1. Services Provided

Australian Psychologist Supervision and Training provides individual supervision (5+1, 4+2, general registration, registrar programs), group supervision, assessment-focused supervision, professional development workshops, and training programs.
Services may be delivered in person or online.

2. Booking and Payment

  • Bookings are made via Halaxy or email.

  • Payment is required within 7 days of the session date for all supervision services.

  • For workshops and training programs, payment must be received prior to attendance unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • If an organisation is funding your participation, written confirmation or a purchase order must be received before attendance is confirmed.

  • Unpaid sessions or workshops may be cancelled or suspended until payment is received.

3. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Supervision Sessions

  • More than 48 hours’ notice: session may be rescheduled without fee.

  • Less than 48 hours’ notice: full session fee applies.

  • Non-attendance without notice: full session fee applies.

Workshops and Group Programs

  • Cancellations more than 14 days prior: 75% refund.

  • Cancellations 7–14 days prior: 50% refund.

  • Less than 7 days: no refund.

  • No refunds once workshop materials have been accessed or distributed.

Transfers to another workshop may be approved if space is available and may incur an administration fee.

4. Late Arrival

Sessions will finish at the scheduled time, and full fees apply, even if you arrive late.

5. Professional Responsibility

Supervision is a reflective, developmental process and does not replace your ethical, legal or clinical responsibilities as a psychologist or provisional psychologist.
You remain responsible for your own clinical decisions, reports, and practice.

 

6. Use of Halaxy

Halaxy is used for booking, invoicing, reminders and secure storage.
By engaging in services, you consent to your information being managed via Halaxy in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual Property

Materials, worksheets, templates, supervision tools and workshop resources remain the intellectual property of Australian Psychologist Supervision and Training.
They must not be copied, shared, reproduced or distributed without written permission.

8. Confidentiality

  • All supervision discussions are confidential except where disclosure is legally or ethically required (e.g., risk of harm, court orders, mandatory reporting).

  • Group supervision participants must maintain strict confidentiality regarding all case discussions and peer contributions.

  • Session recording (audio or video) is not permitted without prior written consent.

9. Online Supervision Requirements

For online supervision, you are responsible for ensuring:

  • a private and confidential environment

  • reliable internet

  • functioning video and audio

  • no unauthorised persons can observe or overhear the session

If technical issues prevent participation, the session may be rescheduled at your cost.

10. Professional Conduct

We reserve the right to discontinue services if a participant:

  • breaches confidentiality

  • acts in a way that is unethical, inappropriate or unsafe

  • fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions

Refunds will not be provided where attendance is discontinued due to misconduct.

 

11. Organisational Bookings

If funded by an organisation:

  • these Terms and Conditions still apply to the participant

  • substitutions may be approved with prior written consent

  • access to materials constitutes commencement of enrolment; refunds are not available once materials have been accessed

12. Complaints and Feedback

Complaints or concerns must be submitted in writing.
We will review and respond within 30 days.
If unresolved, external avenues (e.g., AHPRA, professional bodies) may be pursued.

 

13. Changes to Services

We may modify, reschedule, or cancel services where necessary (e.g., illness, low numbers, emergencies).
If a workshop is cancelled by us, a full refund or transfer will be offered.

 

14. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for:

  • losses resulting from the use or interpretation of supervision guidance

  • impact of technology failures or disruptions

  • personal travel, accommodation or incidental costs associated with rescheduling

Our supervision supports professional development but does not guarantee registration, endorsement or competency outcomes.

15. Acceptance of Terms

By attending supervision, workshops or training, accessing materials, or making a booking, you confirm that you understand and accept these Terms and Conditions.
